3 stars for Shop Vac product. I used an older model 2010A 1 gallon portable. The older model has a removable foam filter + a round filter that wraps the central vacuum cleaner inside. A plastic ring keeps it in place. 75% of the inside of an old model is what you suck. Whenever you want, remove the top tank and empty the bottom tank. I use mine to clear the ash out of my Traeger Pellet Smoker. Once every 3-4 I shake out the soil, put it in and leave. From time to time I remove foam and paper filters that can be washed. Or I use an air hose to clean. 2 stars deduction for this article due to the lame pocket system! With my old one I come from 1 foam rubber + 1 paper filter for several years. In this newer version, the only option is to change the bag? Too expensive at the back and the bag takes up most of the space inside, not enough space for my needs. The disposable bag is another avenue where I would have no choice but to keep buying bags and throwing them away when they are full. It doesn't work for me when I send it back
