I bought this for my hedgehog and overall he likes it. The inside of the ball doesn't seem to get stuffy, damp or too hot when he uses it. Unfortunately, he likes to pee/poop while walking, so cleaning him while walking can be a problem so he doesn't spread everywhere. The ball is also plastic, so the locking mechanisms can break or bind. I once had a sphere but luckily it opens at both ends and can easily be covered with tape if needed. My hedgehog's toes have never got stuck in a ball, but this can be a problem for animals with long claws. I really wasn't expecting anything too amazing and since all the balls are plastic it doesn't look like you can get much better if you pay more money. Mine is orange, although I noticed the picture is pink I assume you will receive a random color selection.
