Perfect size for our Syrian hamster. He drives around the house at super speeds. Much better than the one he was smaller in. I was afraid to put it in something bigger until we found that size.

This is a great ball for the Syrian Hamster! I have a tall Syrian named Hank. At first he didn't like balls, but that was because they were the wrong size. It's important to make sure your wheel and ball are big enough for this type of hummi or they will get lazy.

We had a 7 inch ball for my granddaughter's Syrian Hamster and as she got older it seemed too big for him. Not sure if this huge ball would be too big for her to maneuver, I ordered it based on the many reviews I read. Overall I am very satisfied with this product. It's big and sturdy, but not too heavy to sit on comfortably. It was definitely worth it and now "Smiley" can enjoy his free time undisturbed.

My hammy has outgrown his 7 inch ball and I had to enlarge him so he could walk without arching his back and injuring himself. I saw this ball in a review recommended for another ball and immediately ordered it. I have an orange color which I don't like but Hammy is happy and that's the main thing for me. He's a lot more active doing it because he feels a lot more comfortable. It took him a few days to get used to it, but he's great at walking around the house every night. 👏

My stuffed hamster was getting too fat to fit in its 7 inch ball so I had to enlarge it. Ball, he was more active so I think he likes it. I couldn't decide on a color and was a bit surprised when I didn't get a pink ball like in the picture. The color I received was a very nice shade of yellow. The ball remains very tightly closed. It's a little hard to open sometimes, but that's ok because it comforts me to know that my little guy can't run away.

I bought this for my hedgehog and overall he likes it. The inside of the ball doesn't seem to get stuffy, damp or too hot when he uses it. Unfortunately, he likes to pee/poop while walking, so cleaning him while walking can be a problem so he doesn't spread everywhere. The ball is also plastic, so the locking mechanisms can break or bind. I once had a sphere but luckily it opens at both ends and can easily be covered with tape if needed. My hedgehog's toes have never got stuck in a ball, but…
