I bought this little guy just before the terrible weather came. Luckily I saved the electricity and didn't have to use it but I am totally blown away by the quality of this radio for the money I paid. It's actually solid and has a compartment on the bottom so you can remove the battery and solder on a spare when the time comes. The light isn't very bright if you're used to 18650 flashlights, but it will keep you from messing around in the dark. The radio picks up stations on all bands perfectly and sounds decent enough to help you get through those dreary, dark nights when bad weather rolls in. The solar charging seems to work, when I place it under a table lamp the charging LED lights up. The hand crank also seems to work. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this little fellow to anyone buying a weather radio.
