This thermometer is lightweight and does the job well considering it's cheap. It comes with working batteries (we'll see how long they last, but a month so far no problem), has a Celsius/Fahrenheit toggle, and the screen is bright enough to be easy to read. There's also a pretty handy guide on the back telling you what temperature each meat should be safely cooked at. I will say that I think the probe here is a normal length, but not "long", although that's a good length for all the steaks/chicken/fish we've cooked so far. Good thermometer at an affordable price!
