I bought a 3 year old Hisense air conditioner/heater for $140 through the OfferUp app that didn't have a remote. This item exceeded all of my expectations! It made my device work like it was a brand new $450 machine! Use automatic setting. At the bottom right of this remote's screen (small numbers when it starts counting) you'll see a code when it finds your device. Check the back of the manual to find out the code for your device as the remote will count it. Make sure to click OK once your device turns on. Try all the possibilities of the remote controls, you might be surprised. Otherwise, you'll have to try other codes in the range of your device's printed codes to see which one gets it to do everything it's supposed to do.
