Outstanding performance - the best CFM and high temperature resistance in this price range. It moves more air and can withstand higher temperatures than most other fans. I have this to ventilate the attic, but it's installed in a place that isn't as hot as where it helps ventilation. Unfortunately, my first one started to squeak after 2 days and had to be replaced. Revan mastered it with no problems. I understand that there is a certain expected failure rate that comes from production and maybe I'm just lucky and will update this rating up or down from the original 4 stars depending on how long the replacement lasts. : Use rubber or nylon washers during assembly to reduce transmitted vibration. Also, you won't be able to properly line up the screwdriver on top, so consider either turning screws on the bottom with lock washers on top, or using hex head screws so you can use a tool to hold the top even better. Tighten washers from below. Look for the arrow showing the direction of airflow. When choosing whether to blow or blow air, consider the overall airflow in the room and whether you want to create positive or negative pressure. Many use such a fan as standard to draw in air, but in some cases it may be better to blow in fresh air and squeeze out the existing air. What is safe and appropriate will depend entirely on your application and you should check with local building codes.
