The only good thing about this screen is that there is an HP logo on the bottom of the glass in case you're wondering if there is one (which I was wondering right after I clicked the buy button since I at that moment it just became clear that none of the pictures have this). This screen is so bad. I think it's a BOE marriage that's about 2-3 years old and just sitting on a shelf somewhere. The manufacturer of what I received was BOE with a holographic LCDOLED sticker stuck over the BOE logo on the back of the screen. The BOE has gotten better over the past year from what I've observed, but it's an old BOE. The screen is silver gray when turned off due to loud screaming. Similar to the screen color of my old Macintosh Classic I had in 1990. It's very blurry when turned on. The colors are soft. If it's daytime you'll have to crank the brightness all the way up to see it. Blacks are dark gray at best. There was no real white. It was the color of Weinstein compared to the LG LCD on my other laptop. Just a lazy screen. It really hurts me to see that in my eyes. After 2 days this nonsense came back. Never again. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't care about the screen quality. If you don't care about screen quality, this BOE screen is for you.
