Review on 🌸 Porcelain Botanical Teapot, Teacup, and Saucer Set by Brian West

This teapot, cup and saucer set looks cute, but the quality for real use leaves something to be desired. It works, but the handle on the cup is too close to the saucer, making it difficult to lift (the bottom of the handle is on top of the saucer so you can't put your pinky finger underneath). The lid of the kettle is not tight. As if the lid was made too small. The unfinished rim of the teapot can be seen around the edges. The lid also has an awkward (and frankly unnecessary) "latch" that makes it harder to lift/remove than it should be. You have to tilt the lid at an angle and hope the latch lines up with the notch on the kettle so you can take the lid off. If it's not aligned properly, you'll have to fiddle with it and twist it until you find the notch. This is not a very good design. Just the right size for a couple of cups. And the tea stayed warm in the kettle and cooled quickly in the cup (which I like because I usually drink it quickly and don't like it when it's too hot). It is packaged very well and will make a nice novelty gift. It looks very nice on my shelf at work. I just wish it would work better as I'm looking for an everyday tea set for office use.
