Review on Enhanced Milling Machine Lockdown Vise Swiveling: Enhancing Precision & Versatility by Steven Notsinneh

I am very happy with the quality of this vise! I bought a 4" vise for my small drill press to improve my precision when drilling metal parts. I use a series of parallels to summarize my work. Overall this is a great vise, well packaged, clean and ready to install. I will say that this is a heavy and large vise and I can only imagine what the 5" and 6" are like. I could probably use 3 inches for my application. I highly doubt that the larger ones can be used on smaller grinders or drill presses. They probably need to be used on a full size car. This may not be enough when absolute accuracy is required, but it is quite suitable for an amateur. The only issue I had was with the vise tightening handle. The vise has a well machined 12mm hex end for tightening the jaws, but the handle is molded and looks more like a 13mm vise and is very sloppy on the vise. If you don't remove it when not in use, it falls off pretty easily. I ordered a speedstick off eBay for about $25 and while I could make one myself it would cost almost the same for the materials plus my time. I used the 12mm head on my cordless drill to open and close the vise and included handle just to attach it to my work. It's only until I get a speed controller. I absolutely love this monster vise and think it's a great investment in my tool collection.
