Review on ⏰ BN-LINK Short Period Repeat Cycle Intermittent Timer - Versatile 24 Hour Interval Timer for Day and Night Operations by Tim Sterling

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Stops working after a few days

Good to know: You have to "initialize" the device in order for it to work with the time set on the dial. In the delivery state, it does not work at the time you set. You have to set both values to zero, then plug in and move both controls for a few seconds. This is clearly described in the instructions, but it is not clear if initialization is required. The reason for the bad rating - it stopped working after a few days. I've used it in a plant cloning setup and it drives a 20w water pump: 4 minutes on, 7 minutes off. It seemed to work fine the first day. On the second day he started stuttering and just before the water pump was turned off he started shaking. This went on for two days before the timer function completely failed and now it stays on 24/7. the device stays on all the time. There is a small LED labeled "Output On" that shows when the timer will allow power to the outlet. On my unit it lights up and then turns off at the intervals indicated on the dials, but the outlet is still getting power even when the LED goes out. UPDATE: I've upped my rating to four stars because Century's customer service has been excellent throughout the process and gifted me a timer.
