This car charger/phone holder is pretty good! When I opened it, it was very easy to assemble. The holder is held fairly securely to the vent. The silver button on the side opens the side arms, and as soon as you place the phone in the stand, it automatically closes fairly tightly. Charges well, cable included. The only thing you need to provide is an AC charger. The only thing that bothered me was that it blocked a few buttons on my dashboard, but that's set up in my personal car model. What I also found a bit tricky is that it won't charge if you have something on the back of your protective phone case (magnet, pop jack, finger ring holder, credit card holder/ID card, etc.). On another car I have a magnetic mount so I have to take the case off my phone to charge it in that car or buy this type of charger for each of my cars and take everything out of my bag. Finally, the side unlock button only works when the car is running, so I have to take my phone out before turning the car off. If you park the car and then try to remove the phone, it will get stuck in the holder. When my son tried to use it with his new iPhone 11, the phone wouldn't charge because the charging sensor was too big to fit in the charging cradle. No connection is established.
