Absolutely IMPRESSED with this phone mount! I work in oil field sales and drive EXTREMELY bumpy dirt roads and this mount wouldn't let go of my phone and I have an iPhone 7+. I accidentally installed part of the dock while at the park, so when switching the speaker, the handle got in the way. So I put a metal plate in the corner of my suitcase (I left it loose under the suitcase so I can move it if needed) and it holds it up well even when riding on bumpy roads. I can also turn the phone sideways and it holds! It's good if you want to listen/watch a movie. (Don't judge lol) Only negative but not critical as it has a retractable lever the mount wobbles a bit on rough roads. And if you didn't put two and two together from my previous post, this works REALLY well for me! I have a clear rubber bodyguardz. If you had to put it on the outside of the case, the metal plate is so thin that it doesn't push on at all!
