I'm sure there are better options.

The lenses weren't very impressive at all. I can't tell a macro from a wide angle lens. Most of them are in two parts and will twist if you try to unscrew them. Generally not there. I bought this kit for a telescope lens and although it says 18x25 it has no adjustable zoom, only focus and I don't even think it's close to 18x which would be the lower limit of what it marks.
