During this period of social distancing, my family and I enjoy plenty of red wine (in moderation) to stay safe and healthy. We have tried many other everyday winged corkscrews purchased from Revain but most of them were poorly designed, poorly performing and had to be returned. , and "alwaysbargains4U" replied quickly, so I bought from this seller. + The resulting corkscrew was indeed "Made in Italy", but simply attached to a cardboard label with a thin plastic line. Replicas: The real one has a snail/drill shaped corkscrew while the fake has a spiral/braid corkscrew. + Has a thin rubber coating for improved grip, but little cushioning. The cork did not fall out completely even with the wings fully lowered. The white plastic inner cap that holds the bottle neck hasn't fallen off after a few uses. Long-term durability remains to be seen. Overall: Good quality for everyday use as a corkscrew so we don't have to constantly take out our Campagnolo Big Cavatappi corkscrew, designed for special occasions.
