Works well, too easy not! The biggest downside is the depth gauge lock knob. Once you've placed the feeler gauge close to the wheel axle, turn the knob to hold the gauge in place. When you tighten the knob the gauge actually moves, what a poor design, especially from Park Tool! You flip the wheel and check the other axle, but you don't get a very accurate reading because the dipstick moved when you tightened the bolt. A screw probe would be much better, especially if it reads in millimeters.
