I've always used Craftsman on my ratchets because of their no-fault returns policy. I lost one of my ratchets so I decided to try a different brand. The Crescent brand feels very solid and I like the 72-tooth gear train for loosening bolts in hard-to-reach places. The finish is great and the grip and length are perfect for my daily work. I recommend trying this ratchet. The price is worth it Update (07/17/2019). Upgraded from 5 stars to 1. I had to loosen the stop screw. After sufficient force was applied (an extension was not used), the ratchet switch disengaged, releasing the ratchet. I've tried several times and the ratchet has failed every time. I've never had a Craftsman ratchet that did this. The Crescent Ratchet is a useless tool for stuck screws. I don't recommend buying if you don't like it when your joints get broken.
