The top part is heavy, DOES NOT close - do not put food there!
These baskets are handy but can easily tip over if the top basket is heavier than the two below. Not as strong as I would like. Most important note: The hinged lids do NOT snap into place. Ants came to them in my kitchen when we had a bad couple of rainy days and I had to throw away ยฃ30+ dog food. Whether you want to save it for crafts, light tools, or fabric, they'll suit you well. Otherwise, do not store dog food, cereal, or other perishable foods. You will be VERY sorry!
