Review on 🎨 Sargent Art 16oz Gesso: Premium White Surface Primer for Professional Artists by Doris Tran

I'm by no means an expert but my experience of using this primer for customizing a Nendoroid figure wasn't great to be honest. I needed to paint the black/red part a solid medium brown, so I figured using a primer would give me an even color throughout the part. But it is so thin and liquid that it is very difficult to get a smooth surface. I compared using primer and paint alone (acrylic paint diluted with water) and the end result was pretty much the same. In addition, if you paint over the primer, it will be easier to scratch it with your nails. And I used thin capes, nothing crazy. In the end I think it was a waste of money and they even reduced the price after I bought it 🤦‍♂️
