Very cheap metal inside the cable
I ripped off half an inch and started wrapping it around the terminal screw. The problem is that the metal is so cheap you can't twist or bend it around the connectors. I've been able to do this and the bulb I'm driving is an extra low voltage LED so it will work, but just wanted to point that out.
