Difficult to use

This is the second time I have bought these craft sticks. The first pack was for a class project at my son's school. We made snowflakes glued together that matched the cut out templates perfectly. I noticed a lot of the sticks were broken but thought maybe it was a batch. Since we had enough sticks for the kids to complete their craft I just overlooked it. Fast forward to August 2020, I'm buying a pack again. My son is obsessed with Friday the 13th and Halloween so we wanted to build a house for Crystal Lake. Again, many of the stickers are useless and the cuts are uneven so you have even spacing when you join the sticks together. They would work great if you were doing a project that didn't require locking, but if you're trying to do a project where they are connected I'd probably suggest a different brand. I used this type of cut/woven craft sticks as a kid and don't remember them being difficult to use and I'm 40 now. I don't think I'll be trying this product a third time. Pros
  • WIDE APPLICATION: These highly pigmented and brightly colored sticks will brighten up any homemade creation, and the natural wooden sticks are great for making popsicles. You can even use them to point out some of the plants in the garden on the windowsill.
Cons
  • Big and bulky
