Failed to load media. About a year ago I bought a Moccamaster brewer with a thermograph. Combined with this lid, it doesn't need a heating element to keep the coffee hot and fresh for hours. In fact, I've found that coffee stays fresh much longer than my previous drip coffee maker that used a heating element. and no more burnt/stale coffee, even after 3-4 hours of inactivity. I recently lost this head bolt and panicked - luckily this replacement was readily available. I noticed that some reviews said it was cheap or difficult to screw compared to the original. Having received this item 24 hours after the original was lost I was unable to make a direct comparison but apart from being new and shiny I believe it is identical to the cover that came with the device. I will say that it takes a bit of technique to get the strings properly tightened, but again, it's no different from the original and isn't difficult. I just put the cap back on and twist counterclockwise until it feels like it's aligned, then twist clockwise to tighten. I have attached a video for reference. Overall I think this is a must have accessory for the Technivorm Moccamaster thermograph. This spare part was immediately available, quickly dispatched and delivered and is identical to the original lid that came with the coffee maker. I'll order another one as a replacement. 👍👍
