I was very excited to get this set as I've been thinking a lot about making candles; It sparked my interest and research. When it arrived I opened it, first I saw four beautiful candle jars. I had a bohemian style in the print. I immediately smelled the essential oils and was saddened to see a little oil leaking out of each one. It was quite dirty but washed off quite easily. I followed the directions as written with no issues or problems, they were well written and easy to follow. I had a bit of a problem with the advertised 10ml essential oils as I was a little short on leaking bottles. Maybe that's why they didn't seem as fragrant as I would have liked. After creating my first candle with her scent, I realized that there is more to a packet of wax than a tin can. So I looked around the house and found a few things I could fill in and not waste wax. Ultimately I found that the candles fill and sit very nicely. I will wait before lighting one as my research has shown that waiting 3-5 days for the candle to set produces the best scent. It was a good start and let me know that I definitely want to start making my own candles. Overall, this set is great for (supervised) crafts with the family or kids.
