I love how easy it is to zip up the headrests. I love how it covers the seats and helps keep the car clean. Daisy is prone to vomiting and car rides really spoil her mood. She didn't have to drive this new car unless she was on a road trip and I picked her up. So I am happy to know that she will be protected when she goes to the vet soon. I love how you can still access the seat belt. I could detach myself from the front headrests, put this thing under me and use it to protect the back seat from the kids. I will keep this collapsible plate there as an emergency plate, not only for my loved ones, but in case someone gets thirsty when I'm not at home! I think if you had the right harness it would do, but I rarely tie Daisy up. It's more to comfort other people than I hooked them up. I don't like the side flaps which I was hoping would protect the door area. There's nothing to hold her. They just settle down and go anywhere. Never again support. I'm also concerned about the lengthening of the front seats. If both seats were pushed all the way back it wouldn't be so bad, but I can't drive with my seat pushed that far back! I see that they are reinforced next to the strap so hopefully this will solve this problem. If only they could put up those side flaps, we could turn them over to the door and at least do SOMETHING to protect them!
