- Works great as an outdoor PVC junction box (my cable/fiber entries are hidden deeply to avoid service disruption) - I chose this over the store's standard PVC electrical part as it has a lower profile (3 inches instead). from 4+) and a bit more attractive. The plastic screws work perfectly. You have to be careful and only tighten them lightly (don't overtighten or they will break) This isn't rocket science - it's plastic - be careful - if the box is in direct sunlight it's a good idea to wrap it around to be painted for extra protection. Use a primer for plastic for the first coat)
