My theory is if it doesn't leak, it doesn't leak. Whenever I buy dry packs and haven't had a chance to use them in a downpour, I do a water test. This is to fill the bag halfway with water and then check the seams for leaks/condensation. I also flip them over after folding the top and attaching the clip. Then I place the bag on dry paper towels, seam side down on the paper towels. Then I leave the water bag for a few hours. Excessive testing yes, but I don't want my nightwear, phone or food to get wet. If you've experienced this before, you understand what I'm talking about. Well after testing each bag (I bought 2-30L, 2-15L, 2-10L and a 20L) the Caos Nomad bags arrived with flying colours. Not a single bag has leaked, not a single drop. Even when I turned them over, filled with water. How impressive. My experience has been to squeeze the air out of the pockets before folding the top and fastening it. I find my dry bags last longer this way. Closing the air-filled bag seems to strain the bag's seams. We hike and hike a lot and these pack sacks will accompany us on every trip. Thank you for all the reviews on this product that helped me make my purchase decision.
