Review on 🌺 Optimized Embroidery Kits: Colorful Flower and Plant Designs, Beginner Set with Patterns, Hoop, Threads, Tools, and Stamped Cloth by Dawn Fischer

Bought this kit to kill time and learn a new skill during the COVID-19 quarantine. I was a little slow walking out the gate trying to figure out the terminology since this is my first time embroidering or embroidering. I used to mend clothes and hand sew decorative pillows, but that was the limit of my needle and thread experience. There are two sheets that describe the seven stitches needed to complete this project. It was helpful to have two different explanations and diagrams to figure out the different stitches. For me, the French knot was the hardest to master. The rest was pretty easy. The kit comes with all supplies (except scissors) and I still have a lot of thread left. I also did a few test stitches on the corners of the canvas, which I especially recommend for that damn French knot. Also: DO NOT wash, steam or iron the fabric before sewing as the design may fade. I recommend soaking the canvas in cold water and some hand soap afterwards to remove lines and wrinkles. All in all I would definitely recommend this set. The $16 investment has taught me a new skill and given me hours and hours of activity. I don't meditate, but these activities bring me peace.
