I did not read any reviews on this detergent before buying it. I've been using the original Molly's Suds for quite some time and was dying to try this version. As soon as I opened the packaging I inhaled so much dust that I had a violent fit of coughing. I even tried holding my breath while opening because I knew from the original that this brand releases a few small particles into the air every time you open a bag and pick it up. However, the original never felt like it would suffocate me. And yes, it sounds very dramatic. I'm not a dramatic person and I'm not sensitive to scents, so it must be very painful for me to even mention it. I always use the cleanser and it works well. My clothes come out clean and smell nice (not a lot of smell when it dries which I would expect from more natural detergents) and I like the effectiveness. However, the dust is still too overwhelming. I hold the sachet as far away from my face as possible, handle it and the scoop very gently and can still feel the product in my lungs and cough up within a minute of using it. I decided to stop by today and read the reviews to see if anyone had the same experience and I see several mentions of this issue. I guess I'll have to go back to the original.
