Fantastic travel option

Got this to start vacations/camping/travelling. It can be used as a fridge or freezer, making it very flexible. I used it for a very long trip from the Midwest to Galveston Island. I used it as a freezer. Hotels usually have microwaves and refrigerators. With Covid most hotels are not offering complimentary breakfast options like they used to. For that it was very helpful. We made the breakfast sandwiches ahead of time to freeze them, so all we had to do in the morning was reheat them in the microwave. We also had groceries for lunch and dinner. Aside from being prepared for hotels not having breakfast, having extra food for other meals saved you a lot of money. We've brought sausage, breakfast sandwiches, pre-cooked sloppy joe, pre-cooked chili, bread, buns, etc. it all fits in this space. We also froze small water bottles to use as ice blocks for the soft-sided refrigerator that fits in my pickup truck's console to hold food and snacks for the ride. then the jackery was connected to my car. The reason I do it this way is that the 12v plugs only work when I start my car. At times when the vehicle is off (fuelling, etc.), the freezer will continue to be powered from the outlet. I will say if something freezes in there just plug it into 12v, that's fine because the food stays frozen for about 10 minutes which is required for petrol etc. Just think about it. I will use that. on a long hike this summer. The presence of a freezer opens up great opportunities for travel. I've paired this with a 12v lunch box stove to cook from the freezer even while driving. You can't beat this particular machine for the price and it works great. I didn't buy an extended warranty for this. I figured I saved the $160 purchase price for a single ride, and if this thing dies tomorrow, it was worth it. It's 21 liters which is perfect for me and my husband (kids are on and off) and we had food. left when we got home. I think the family can handle it. Planning the trip and the meal was half the fun of the whole experience. I think couples, families, backpackers and day trippers would benefit from one.
