This light only work as advertised in warm weather - when temperatures get down to 40 or 50 degrees Fahrenheit it will turn itself on for something like 90 seconds and then off for 3 to 10 seconds, depending on how cold it is.I installed the light and left it on for a number of days - it was installed on a barn. Soon the light was going off for 4 seconds and then coming on for 90 seconds, wind or not, motion or not. I informed Fudesy and was sent a replacement light. I installed the second light and it did the same thing, although it would stay off a little longer. The two I received are not what I ordered.We live in upstate New York where we have low temperatures. Perhaps the low temps caused a problem, or perhaps the winter weather - damp, rainy/snowy. I don't know. I contacted Fudesy about the second light having a problem and they gave me a refund. I asked about the weather being a problem but they did not know. They said they were investigating.I ended up replacing the light with a Heath Zenith HZ-4150-BK which works as you would expect. Motion turns it on and it goes off in a set period of time. You can't use it as a light.
