They're actually more expensive than buying in quarts, but it makes up for it by ending up in reusable containers instead of 15 useless little bottles. I used 3 of these to replace the filter and flush for 4l70w. I have f150. first sucked all available oil through the transsonde tube, removed the sump pan and cleaned it and the magnet, replaced the filter, returned the sump pan. 5 liters filled. then i disconnected the return line from the bottom of the oil cooler and the supply line from the gearbox which plugs into the top left port on the radiator inside the radiator to drain the radiators. Attach a 3/8 inch hose to the transmission supply line. alternately started the engine for 10 seconds and filled the transmission until the fluid turned red. padded to hashmarks and that's it. better and more fun than just changing the filter. 13 liters and that's it.
