Description of πŸ”§ Genuine Ford XT-5-QM MERCON-V 1 Quart Fluid: Ideal for Automatic Transmission & Power Steering

Motorcraft MERCON V is a premium-quality automatic transmission fluid. Recommended by Ford Motor Company for use in Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles that require either MERCON V or MERCON type fluid. Do not use in applications where MERCON SP, MERCON LV, continuously variable chain type transmission fluid, Motorcraft premium automatic transmission fluid, FNR5 automatic transmission fluid or Type-F automatic transmission fluid is recommended. Do not use in transfer cases where MERCON automatic transmission fluid was previously recommended. Motorcraft MERCON V is suitable for use as a hydraulic oil in a wide variety of industrial applications that call for an ISO 46 or SAE 20W viscosity grade hydraulic oil.

Easy enough to make at home. Save $100.00

For full flush in A4OD. 10 mm bolts on the oil pan 11 mm connector in the torque converter. Using a wrench, rotate the front of the crankshaft to align the drain plug with the rubber cap on the underside of the bell. Pretty easy job, be sure to change the filter. you are down there Don't just change the oil in the sump - most of the oil is in the torque converter.

Much cleaner fluid for your whole body

I thought the old gear oil was fine. I mean it was dark red and didn't smell very nice when I lowered the pallet under the truck. But as it splashed onto my face and neck and ran down my arms, it was a little comforting. My beard has never been so soft. But this new one is, wow, much smoother and such a beautiful red color. Although I only got a chance to pick up some of it during the procedure, it certainly felt good. I look forward to my next flush. I hope it will still be smooth as silk!

Factory product of a well-known brand at the price of cheap material.

Delivered quickly and just what my car needed. No multiple brands from the auto parts trade. This is exactly what I need to use and the price is no different from cheap things. . There is no time to save when we are talking about your transfer. I travel a lot and want it to last. Don't let them wash away your trance. It upsets things that should stay where they are. Just lower the sump and change the filter and some liquid. I know it doesn't change all the fluid every time, but if you do it on…

a good thing. - Transmission Fluids

They're actually more expensive than buying in quarts, but it makes up for it by ending up in reusable containers instead of 15 useless little bottles. I used 3 of these to replace the filter and flush for 4l70w. I have f150. first sucked all available oil through the transsonde tube, removed the sump pan and cleaned it and the magnet, replaced the filter, returned the sump pan. 5 liters filled. then i disconnected the return line from the bottom of the oil cooler and the supply line from the…

Good fluid, good for oils and fluids

Have a 2005 F-150 with 175,000 miles. I frequently tow a 20 foot cargo trailer with a 1966 Mustang. The gearbox was never overhauled and had no problems, no other gearbox cooler was added other than that found in every car cooler. I bought this truck new in 2005 and change the sump fluid every 50,000 miles using only this stuff, never mix. The gearbox (4R70w) still works great, like knock on wood. When I change the fluid it doesn't look burnt or broken. Due to outside temperature in the 90's…

Superb Genuine Ford Power Steering Fluid.

Perfect for flushing the power steering fluid on my 2008 Expedition. Using a turkey syringe, removed most of the old liquid from the reservoir, removed the bottom hose and placed in a used Gatoraid bottle to catch the liquid that was about to leak. To plug the socket, I attached a balloon with a rubber band. I filled the tank very slowly, trying to keep the old one down. Lift the front of the car and turn the steering wheel from side to side to squeeze out all the old liquid. Don't start the…

MERCON V - Original Replacement

Mercon-V Gear Oil as advertised BUT. with a difference. The labeling of the 5 liter jugs has changed. The markings on the 5 quarts are identical to the last individual QUARTER BOTTLES. This is Ford's recommended replacement fluid for ALL Ford vehicles with automatic transmissions that previously required MERCON fluid. My Lincoln Navigator originally required MERCON fluid. Ford later changed their recommendation from MERCON to MERCON V. I have used MERCON V for the last 120,000 miles with no…

Good price and recommended product!

Mercon V is the most common type of Ford Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) used in earlier Ford models and is very similar to Dexron III. Painted red for leak detection. This is a fully synthetic ATF. Motorcraft MERCON V (actually a Roman numeral 5, not "V" as many people think) is a premium automatic transmission fluid. Developed and recommended by Ford Motor Company for use in Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles requiring MERCON V or older MERCON fluids. I did a little research and found that

I have a 2004 Ford F-150 4.6L 4R70E, new body style, not old build. I ordered two of these and each had a different label. It was a bit confusing at first but it was a real product they just switched to a new label and the picture on Amazon didn't update. (Photos attached). The Mercon V license number, part number and part number were the same. The gearbox was changed at 130km, the recommended interval is 150km but that is under normal driving conditions and I was the second owner so I didn't…
