Many people like these doorstops compared to others on the market. The design is excellent, the construction reliable. The large rubber surface of the locking pin is easy to feel and comfortable to use. The lower end of the locking pin is made of a softer rubber that compresses easily and holds well even on smooth surfaces. The front edge of the locking pin has tiny grooves so the locking plate holds the pin in place without slipping and releases easily with one touch. This device has clean corners and a nice matte finish - much nicer than others. My actual use was to secure a mobile kitchen cabinet so that it could be easily rolled with the pins retracted but secured for use with the pins extended. They are excellent at this, so installing the door on site will be an easy task for them.
