Took it to the golf course and was with four others who had laser range finders and I used a GPS tracker. I was hoping I could use the laser for more difficult shots or when the GPS isn't telling the full story. It was usually 50-100 meters off at the track, so I devised a plan to test it at home. Set 2 accurate measured distances, one at 10 yards, one at 20 yards. Of course you can't mess that up, can you? Not correct. He measured 10 yards as a 5 and 20 as an 11. I have no idea what's wrong with him, but it's clear he can't be trusted remotely. Save yourself the headache and expense, don't buy this product. I plan to return mine if the seller doesn't contact me within a few days to fully rectify the situation. Again, buyers beware. UPDATE: Seller contacted after verification and replacement unit shipped. One thing I noticed when replacing the device was that there was a quality control label in the box that was not on the original device. I suspect I received a defective unit working and there seems to be a small issue in the supply chain when it comes to quality control for the seller. Rating upgrade to 4 stars, 1 star for initial device, 5 stars for replacement.
