Used in 400 sqm master bedroom. ft. Smelled like medicine initially, as expected. I took it out of the box and left it outside to air for two weeks before turning it on. We've been working for about two weeks now and the smell has almost gone. Today I found three cracks in the piece. When I installed them, they weren't there. It works as expected, relieving our bedroom of the chill we used to have from not having enough convection heating. Plastic feet are cheap and plastic caps are cheap so you have to be careful not to use too much force when screwing in the caps as you will mess up the threads. The wall behind the block is quite warm so I'm trying to figure out how and what I could use to effectively redirect that heat directed at the wall so it can be directed back into the room. There is no sound from this unit, but the included plug-in thermostat makes a clicking sound when turned on. Since it wakes me up I decided to switch to another digital thermostat that I already had. I hope the cracks don't grow and this block continues to work for me, but I'm already frustrated with this issue. I'm also afraid to remove the caps to put a heat shield behind them and put the caps back on hoping not to strip the plastic threads.
