Review on Neewer Camera Flash Speedlite Canon by Jose Smith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great for macro photography, offers a convenient 1m extension

Everything has worked great so far, I'm happy to give it a 5 out of 5. I will update if I run into any problems or if the cable breaks. Pros: It's very easy to use, the side hot shoe mount has a latch that stays in place, and the other side attaches to a regular quick release tripod with a 1/4" screw. It's small enough to take with me for outdoor or macro photography, which is what I use it for without taking up too much space. Cons: The same last advantage of this cable can be its disadvantage depending on what kind of use you intend to make, despite the misleading name this cable is by no means 3m long! It's 70cm long at both ends when loose, at the most reasonable tension you'll get 140cm, although a comfortable stretch is only up to 1m. This is less than half of what was advertised. Stretching it any more can ruin all your settings or break the cable. Well, that's not a problem for me as I use it for macro photography, but if you use it for portraiture, for example, it might be too short to give you a good working distance. Overall, it works well for me, and I haven't seen any quality issues so far.
