Perfectly small for a child's room

My son has a smaller lamp in his room but he recently broke the lampshade while living with his brother. One of the side bars has just come loose from the base of the lamp. This new lampshade is the same size as the old one, but looks a lot thicker and stronger. I'm sure the lamp will fall a few times and it's important to have things that are sturdy and won't break. I like the scratch pattern on the gray fabric - it contrasts nicely with the dark blue paneling on his wall.
