The lampshade came in a box 5 times the size. I will keep and use the shadow but the shipper had to cover it with at least some crumpled paper then it wouldn't have been crumpled. I've straightened it out as best as I can but you can see the damage in the attached picture.

My son has a smaller lamp in his room but he recently broke the lampshade while living with his brother. One of the side bars has just come loose from the base of the lamp. This new lampshade is the same size as the old one, but looks a lot thicker and stronger. I'm sure the lamp will fall a few times and it's important to have things that are sturdy and won't break. I like the scratch pattern on the gray fabric - it contrasts nicely with the dark blue paneling on his wall.

This lampshade had the potential to be good, but it looked like it had endured a terrible ordeal. can cause some of them to get back into shape but leave traces of the damage already done. To make matters worse, once you actually place the lampshade on the lamp and then turn on the lamp, the dents become even more noticeable. In the company's defense, I believe that getting a lampshade that survived the shipping process undamaged is probably the real problem. Had it arrived intact I would have…
