This lampshade had the potential to be good, but it looked like it had endured a terrible ordeal. can cause some of them to get back into shape but leave traces of the damage already done. To make matters worse, once you actually place the lampshade on the lamp and then turn on the lamp, the dents become even more noticeable. In the company's defense, I believe that getting a lampshade that survived the shipping process undamaged is probably the real problem. Had it arrived intact I would have given the lampshade high marks as it is true to size and has a simple design that goes well with the wide range of the lamp. In the end I can only recommend that if you want to order this lampshade you only order the lampshade and nothing else until you confirm the shipment. By doing this you can at least eliminate the possibility of it being damaged by other items in your own packaging.
