We have an old Mercedes convertible that we keep in a seasonal home. Since it is a convertible, the interior gets a little sunburn. There was an ugly spot on the driver's seat with large dark cracks in the leather. With the exception of one 2" x 2" seat, all seats were in very good condition. I spent a lot of time matching the leather restorer to my car's leather using the VIN. There seemed to be a significant discrepancy so I chose a US seller rather than ordering something more expensive and not sure if it would be a color match from an international seller. This product has worked surprisingly well. There is a generous amount and clear instructions. While not an exact match, it did a great job of filling in and painting deep dark cracks in the seat. I didn't follow the directions, I used a cotton swab to fill in the dark cracks, let it sit for a few minutes, then wiped the excess on the skin around the cracks. Deep dark cracks disappeared instantly and there was a 100% improvement. I used the same method to fill in some of the other smaller dark cracks and then wiped the restorer off the surrounding leather. This also worked. I am very impressed with this product and will use it again for seats. To all Mercedes owners, I think my interior is Ash and the internal chassis code was either 208A or 218A.
