Bought my dad a used car with some worn black leather seats. I saw this product and it was cheap so just for fun I thought let's get something brown for those old leather sofas that our dogs and kids have thrown away over the years. Unreal! Is easy to apply and dries quickly. I can't say how durable it will be but for now I'm sold!

Maybe darker colors would work but oh my god don't buy the cream. Check out the negative reviews on this product. I think it's about the cream. It's basically like thin white paint. Followed instructions, mixed well and immediately panicked and attempted to wash down my beautiful leather furniture. Luckily I got it before it dried. Terrible! I will definitely come again.

So I have yet to use this product BECAUSE the instructions that came with the product when I received it said that 2 more items are required to use it with the leather restorer for it to be does not wear out. Nowhere in the online description was it mentioned that other products had to be used with a color refresher. If so, I might not have bought it in the first place.

I grabbed it as soon as it arrived and got to work. The seats of my sofa were badly scratched with nothing else covering them. Covers quickly, dries quickly. I have a sealant that's supposed to arrive on Thursday, so until it arrives I can't tell if I trust it alone to stay in place. It's paint (not like shoe polish as others have claimed) and it washes off with water. I therefore do not recommend closing. But still looks better, easy to apply.
