About 5 or 6 years ago we replaced our toilets and one of them finally worked so I knew it needed a gasket replacement. I bought a gasket but didn't know how to replace it so I replaced the whole tower. Unlike the old flapper design, this meant removing the entire tank. After that it was pretty easy to replace. Just make sure you can get another person to guide the tank as it is lowered to ensure it is properly seated on the large gasket. You don't want to leak! The sign on my restroom is different than the one in the parking lot, but I was able to use it. I kept the old canister to play around with to see how easy it is to swap out the seal so next time I don't have to take the whole tank out!
