Review on 🔍 Optimized for Search: AUSCAN3 16 Inch Magnet Mount Scanner Antenna by Accessories Unlimited by Quinton Dawon

Picked it up in my truck in November 2016 for use with the Uniden 246T scanner. I am a licensed ham radio operator and have a ham radio operator in my truck. While ham radio isn't really designed for high speed scanning like a dedicated scanner, when I installed this antenna on the Uniden I compared what I was able to pick up with my Kenwood and what I was able to pick up with the Uniden. 4 stars because I expected it to perform significantly better than the rubber ducky but only got mediocre results. I never had a scan on my Kenwood, which I didn't get on Uniden either. I have to say I call it a product success. The antenna seems to be well made and stays on the roof of my truck even in 130 km/h wind on the Autobahn. I would recommend this to others who need a decent external antenna.
