No worse or better than the first!
I have used a previous version of this Scansnap scanner for over 7 years and really loved it. I only had to buy a new one when the latest Apple OS didn't work with the old one. Not a complete failure, the old one works with my wife's machine as she hasn't updated the OS. It's easy to use, scans both sides of a page, and can scan multiple pages (probably no more than 10) at once. Good product. I didn't have a chance to get tech support with this version but with a previous version they were great although I rarely needed tech support.
