Review on πŸ”₯ Enhance Your Grip and Style with Easton Pinline Logo Bar Tape by Fred Whitehead

Very Good Quality - Almost Perfect

Very good quality tape. Fairly thick foam with pointed edges. It can be very tedious to tighten it around the handlebars to accommodate the turns. There is a thin adhesive strip on the back. The band also features the Easton logo on one half of the band. This means you can choose to show or hide the logo on the drops. But you can't have everything! Winding the levers usually reverses the windup (the method described by the Park Tool). That means if you hide the logo on the drops it will be visible on the tops. Luckily, Easton was kind enough to provide two rolls of mirror-image tape. This allows you to wrap both sides of the bar so that they look the same. Now for the cons of this nice soft tape: as it foams it is quite soft and easily gets dirty and scratched. In addition, the foamy surface picks up dirt and is much more difficult to clean than types with a smoother outer surface.
