Easy to apply. Relatively thick band, but not too spongy. The length of the pieces was good - I run 46cm wide bars and there was enough tape to wrap the bars properly. The color is quite vibrant, so if you want a muted, mustard yellow color, this might not be for you. This is the first time I've used Easton Pinline tape but I will be using it again due to the feel, thickness and length of the tape.

people seem concerned about how sticky it is or not. This isn't a problem as it only matters when you have the tape done and then have the black tape to make sure it's secure. The cushioning is so-so, but I bought it mainly for visibility. The kit includes two end caps and two parts of the brake jacket. Fairly light ribbon for the first few days. Unfortunately it gets dirty very easily, maybe even more so than the white tape I've used in the past. The glue is too strong, and if you put glue on the bar tape at all, re-pasting will most likely break the tape. The glue also leaves a lot of residue on the bars when removed. On the downside, it's pretty easy to clean, so a little oil on the elbow can keep it bright and shiny, but I'm not sure it's the best option unless you're really after that…

As expected but expectations too high. Before that I had Lizardskin DSP 3.2 in black. I modified the handlebars to accommodate the aero bars and had to wrap them. I bought the Easton because it was 1/3 the price of an LS DSP tape and had good reviews. One major difference is that you must/should tighten the Easton tape, which is against LS instructions. The band also features the Easton logo on one half of the band. This means you can choose to show or hide the logo on the drops. But you can't have everything!
