As someone who wears 3E or 4E shoes I was pleasantly surprised that they fit me. A lot of shoes labeled simply 'wide' are still too tight if they fit, but these are great. I bought these to use as a beach and water pair and I have to say they are great for that purpose. They stay in place, have a good grip on most surfaces, and are fairly easy to clean. My issues lie in the texture of the insole, which basically encourages sand and dirt to lock in and cling to the surface, and it's not the most comfortable (although I'm getting used to it) and the overall weight is the second heaviest shoe I've owned second only to own a pair of leather boots. In hindsight, the cloud could have been more comfortable, but the weight worries me. more than one texture, and the lighter z/volv is not available in wide versions. However, I am happy with these sandals and hope they last for many years to come.
