These heating pads are really great. At first I was a bit skeptical. We have LEDs that change color at home, so I noticed that right away. The heating pad does not feel hot on the outside, except on the top where the wax or oil is actually applied. They come with silicone. The insert can be removed to pour out the liquid or take out the cooled wax. They also come with a small glass bowl that looks like it's holding a small tealight. I only use it to pour in melted wax and use it to form little pucks/tarts to be melted down later. So the silicone cup/liner makes it easier to clean or change flavors. The instructions do not indicate that they come with them, or their actual use. The heater itself is very light but durable. There are 2 switches. The toggle switch on the cord turns on the main power to the heater and LED. The button on the side of the heater turns the LED on and off, and a quick double press changes the pattern/color of the LED. The LED can be set to solid color, flash between colors, or change color smoothly like in my video. You have to be careful about throwing or lifting it too hard as the exterior decor (wood on this model) is actually thin metal. So don't squeeze it when you pick it up or throw it too far as it might bend or wrinkle a little. I dropped one, but when I squeezed it lightly, it snapped back into shape. The USB port on them also works well if you need it on a side table as you save one more thing to connect a cable to. You can connect any USB cable to it to charge electronics or whatever. I connected a USB extension cable to charge and use many devices at the same time. For the price, these are actually very good heating pads. I bought one and then went back and bought 3 more. My daughter loves the one in this scent room but also loves the night light effect when she goes to sleep. They are not too light and do not fade.
