Nice little units for the price. Durable metal body. cool design Damn bright. BUT! They are made in China. So, as might be expected, there was no "Fit and Finish" quality. Now we all know what it means to shop in China. Very cheap compared to things made elsewhere and these cost savings come at the expense of quality. Often there is nothing we can do about it. Aside from buying another item from China if the first one explodes. BUT sometimes we CAN use a little sequential thinking. Like I did with these. I examined them carefully upon arrival. I also read all the reviews. In the reviews there was a problem with water ingress into the case. Immediately upon arrival I noticed some sealing issues. I am SURE there would be water droplets in the glass in two weeks. So the first thing I did was check the headlights in my shop at the car battery level. They shined well. I then used painter's tape to gently mask just the glass lenses. Carefully trim the edges with a razor blade. Then I covered all the seams, joints, screws, nuts and everything else with black FlexSeal. Leave to dry overnight. Then he removed the masking tape. Now any place where water or moisture could enter the body was securely sealed with a coating of liquid rubber. There was no negative aesthetic effect. The hulls were still black. I then installed them as a backup light under the rear bumper of my truck. I need them to couple trailers at night. NOW with this simple modification these lights are truly weatherproof and work great. After my hack I would give all 4 and 5 stars. So it really is worth the price IF you think ahead and make a change.
