I'm relatively new to stand mixers and I usually make quite a mess adding ingredients while blending. It is great! This prevents me from pouring out too much at once as it's fairly close to the mixing head, but then the angle and finger holes allow the sieve to be tipped up to help break through any remaining flour etc. simultaneously. It is very easy to clean and the matte surface has no scratches, so it feels durable. It's thicker than I thought it would be and is a hard plastic. I would buy this again!
